Последний трамвай

I wrote and directed The Last Tram, a short film, during my final year in the Peace Corps. I was part of a film club in Mykolaiv, Ukraine at the time. I came in with a script, and many people in the club helped push this project to give the members experience with managing a film-scale production. The total budget was $200, which payed for renting the tram for two days of shooting. Almost two dozen people donated their time, equipment use, and effort, including club members, working professionals, and university professors. I want to give special thanks to Ievgeniia Dul’ko, Nikita Khudiakov, Denis Chernysh, and Eduard Fiks, as well as everyone else involved in the project. It was tremendous fun.
